BloomWorks Fencing & More installs and repairs wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental fencing for homeowners and businesses in Martinsville, Indiana.
We beat competitor pricing by up to 10%. Ask how.
Martinsville presents almost the opposite problem from the limestone country south of us. Morgan County is where the glaciers stopped their advance, and the result is a county with both flat ground and rolling hills, and some of the most varied soil found anywhere in the state.
So the constraint here is rarely rock. It is water and movement. The West Fork of the White River cuts across the county, and the bottomland near it holds deep, slow-draining soil that behaves nothing like the firmer ground on the rises. Deep soil is easy to dig and easy to get wrong — a post set in saturated bottomland without drainage will heave, lean and loosen over a few freeze-thaw cycles, no matter how deep it went in.
That is why we look at where water sits and moves before deciding footing depth, concrete mix and whether a run needs drainage relief at all. Martinsville also sits on some of the larger, more rural lots we work on, where the fencing has to do real work: containing livestock, marking boundary on acreage, and standing up to weather across long unsheltered runs rather than simply screening a backyard.
Most projects start within 1–3 weeks of your estimate.
In addition to Martinsville, we regularly work in Bloomington, Bedford, and nearby South-Central Indiana communities.
